Sam is a psychologist who has been working with individuals and groups in private practice and public mental health for several years. He is fully registered and has completed a Masters degree in Psychology (counselling). Sam is a medicare service provider, which means clients who are referred from their GP (with a mental health care plan) are eligible for up to 10 medicare-rebated sessions (in a calendar year).

Sam's style is client-focussed and utilises strategies and techniques from current research and training. His practice is informed by the the client's needs, and Sam works alongside each client to find the best-fitting interventions. Sam is trained in cognitive behaviour therapy, Ericksonian hypnosis, solution focussed therapy and existentialist/humanistic therapy. He supports people overcome barriers that are holding them back.

Sam works with adults, adolescents and young people using a variety of therapeutic approaches that complement the needs of the person in counselling. Sam works with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, anger, relationship difficulties and grief.
