Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, an Honours Degree in Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Monash University. She has a special interest in trauma-informed therapy, applying evidence-based somatic techniques to promote overall well-being. Her areas of focus include assisting individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and/or grief and loss.
Donna’s therapeutic approach combines a variety of practices tailored to each client’s unique needs, including:
Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)
Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST)
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Mindfulness techniques
Overall, her approach focuses on breaking unhelpful patterns without the need to revisit past trauma in great depth.
In support of other practitioners, Donna has completed the Australian Psychological Society’s Accredited Psychology Supervisor Training. She also serves as an accredited senior facilitator of Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST), founded by Dr. Janina Fisher. Additionally, she co-facilitates the “Alexander Technique Interweaves for DBR-Trained Practitioners” workshop with Martin Warner, an advanced DBR workshop.
For Australian clients, Donna is a registered Medicare provider. With an eligible referral from a doctor, clients can claim a rebate for part of their session costs.
