Donna is a clinically registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society with over 20 years’ experience. She has worked in both public and private mental health settings, gaining advanced training and experience in clinical care.

Donna’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Monash University.

Donna has a special interest in trauma-informed therapy, using evidence-based somatic techniques to support promotion of wellbeing.

Donna’s process combines a variety of practices to tailor therapy to suit individualclient needs, including:

  • Trauma Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST)

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

  • Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Mindfulness

  • Havening

  • Clinical Hypnosis

  • Body Mind Centering (BMC)

She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

Overall Donna’s therapy focusses on pattern breaking without digging too deep into past trauma. In relation to supporting other practitioners, Donna has completed the Australian Psychological Society’s Accredited Psychology Supervisor Training. She is also an accredited senior facilitator of Trauma Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST) founded by Dr Janina Fisher.

For Australian clients, Donna is also a Medicare provider. This means with an eligible referral from your Doctor you can claim a rebate for part of the cost of your sessions.
