Chantel Kleiner is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Clinical Family Therapist. She is currently working in both private practice and the public health sector within the Monash Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health service, where she works with children and adolescents with acute and chronic psychiatric concerns. She offers treatment to people managing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family relationship difficulties, eating disorders and adjustment disorders. Her experience in the field of eating disorders has spanned over the course of 10 years, where she has worked with both adults and adolescents, in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and Day Programs. She believes in providing a holistic approach in treating disordered eating and is experienced in delivering FBT, APT, CBT-E, SSCM and other evidence based frameworks. Chantel supports the HAES approach towards health and wellbeing.  

Chantel is a Medicare provider offering rebates to those who have a Mental Health Care Plan (up to 20 sessions per calendar year) or an Eating Disorders Management Plan (up to 40 sessions per calendar year). Chantel is committed to bringing a family sensitive approach to her work by drawing on evidence-based treatments in an empathic way, and in collaboration with parents, carers and siblings.
